Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.<\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-28895\" class=\"text 2Cor-5-17\"><sup class=\"versenum\">17&nbsp;<\/sup>Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,&nbsp;the new creation&nbsp;has come:<sup class=\"footnote\" style=\"font-size: 0.625em; line-height: normal; position: relative; vertical-align: text-top; top: auto; display: inline;\" data-fn=\"#fen-NIV-28895a\" data-link=\"[<a href=&quot;#fen-NIV-28895a&quot; title=&quot;See footnote a&quot;>a<\/a>]&#8221;>[<a title=\"See footnote a\" href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=2%20Corinthians+5&amp;version=NIV#fen-NIV-28895a\">a<\/a>]<\/sup>&nbsp;The old has gone, the new is here!<\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-28896\" class=\"text 2Cor-5-18\"><sup class=\"versenum\">18&nbsp;<\/sup>All this is from God,&nbsp;who reconciled us to himself through Christ&nbsp;and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:<\/span>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>1 Corinthians 3:1-11<\/strong><\/u> (NIV)<br \/>\n<span class=\"text 2Cor-5-16\"><sup class=\"versenum\">1<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"text 1Cor-3-1\">Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit&nbsp;but as people who are still worldly\u2014mere infants&nbsp;in Christ.<\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-28413\" class=\"text 1Cor-3-2\"><sup class=\"versenum\">2&nbsp;<\/sup>I gave you milk, not solid food,&nbsp;for you were not yet ready for it.&nbsp;Indeed, you are still not ready.<\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-28414\" class=\"text 1Cor-3-3\"><sup class=\"versenum\">3&nbsp;<\/sup>You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling&nbsp;among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans?<\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-28415\" class=\"text 1Cor-3-4\"><sup class=\"versenum\">4&nbsp;<\/sup>For when one says, \u201cI follow Paul,\u201d and another, \u201cI follow Apollos,\u201d&nbsp;are you not mere human beings?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NIV-28416\" class=\"text 1Cor-3-5\"><sup class=\"versenum\">5&nbsp;<\/sup>What, after all, is Apollos?&nbsp;And what is Paul? Only servants,&nbsp;through whom you came to believe\u2014as the Lord has assigned to each his task.<\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-28417\" class=\"text 1Cor-3-6\"><sup class=\"versenum\">6&nbsp;<\/sup>I planted the seed,&nbsp;Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.<\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-28418\" class=\"text 1Cor-3-7\"><sup class=\"versenum\">7&nbsp;<\/sup>So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.<\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-28419\" class=\"text 1Cor-3-8\"><sup class=\"versenum\">8&nbsp;<\/sup>The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor.<\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-28420\" class=\"text 1Cor-3-9\"><sup class=\"versenum\">9&nbsp;<\/sup>For we are co-workers in God\u2019s service;&nbsp;you are God\u2019s field,&nbsp;God\u2019s building.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NIV-28421\" class=\"text 1Cor-3-10\"><sup class=\"versenum\">10&nbsp;<\/sup>By the grace God has given me,&nbsp;I laid a foundation&nbsp;as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it.
