When you come together, each one has\u00a0a hymn,\u00a0a lesson,\u00a0a revelation,\u00a0a tongue, or\u00a0an interpretation.\u00a0Let all things be done for building up.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-ESV-28689\" class=\"text 1Cor-14-27\"><sup class=\"versenum\">27\u00a0<\/sup>If any speak in\u00a0a tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in turn, and let someone interpret.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-ESV-28690\" class=\"text 1Cor-14-28\"><sup class=\"versenum\">28\u00a0<\/sup>But if there is no one to interpret, let each of them keep silent in church and speak to himself and to God.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-ESV-28691\" class=\"text 1Cor-14-29\"><sup class=\"versenum\">29\u00a0<\/sup>Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others\u00a0weigh what is said.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-ESV-28692\" class=\"text 1Cor-14-30\"><sup class=\"versenum\">30\u00a0<\/sup>If a revelation is made to another sitting there,\u00a0let the first be silent.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-ESV-28693\" class=\"text 1Cor-14-31\"><sup class=\"versenum\">31\u00a0<\/sup>For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all be encouraged,<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-ESV-28694\" class=\"text 1Cor-14-32\"><sup class=\"versenum\">32\u00a0<\/sup>and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-ESV-28695\" class=\"text 1Cor-14-33\"><sup class=\"versenum\">33\u00a0<\/sup>For God is not a God of\u00a0confusion but of peace.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"text 1Cor-14-33\">As in\u00a0all the churches of the saints,<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-ESV-28696\" class=\"text 1Cor-14-34\"><sup class=\"versenum\">34\u00a0<\/sup>the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but\u00a0should be in submission, as\u00a0the Law also says.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-ESV-28697\" class=\"text 1Cor-14-35\"><sup class=\"versenum\">35\u00a0<\/sup>If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-ESV-28698\" class=\"text 1Cor-14-36\"><sup class=\"versenum\">36\u00a0<\/sup>Or was it from you that the word of God came? Or are you the only ones it has reached?<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-ESV-28699\" class=\"text 1Cor-14-37\"><sup class=\"versenum\">37\u00a0<\/sup>If anyone thinks that he is a prophet, or spiritual, he should acknowledge that the things I am writing to you are a command of the Lord.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-ESV-28700\" class=\"text 1Cor-14-38\"><sup class=\"versenum\">38\u00a0<\/sup>If anyone does not recognize this, he is not recognized.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-ESV-28701\" class=\"text 1Cor-14-39\"><sup class=\"versenum\">39\u00a0<\/sup>So, my brothers,\u00a0earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-ESV-28702\" class=\"text 1Cor-14-40\"><sup class=\"versenum\">40\u00a0<\/sup>But all things should be done decently and\u00a0in order.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2023 Church Theme: Advancing God\u2019s Kingdom in the New Normalcy Scripture: 1 Corinthians 14:26-40 (ESV) Speaker: Pastor Aaron Garcia 1 Corinthians 14:26-40 (ESV) 26\u00a0What then, brothers?
