{"id":1480,"date":"2023-07-16T09:30:00","date_gmt":"2023-07-16T09:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mgc.ca\/YM\/?p=1480"},"modified":"2023-07-17T15:06:14","modified_gmt":"2023-07-17T15:06:14","slug":"sermon20230716","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mgc.ca\/YM\/sermon20230716\/","title":{"rendered":"The Last Adam"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"sermonNotes2023\">\n<p>2023 Church Theme: Advancing God\u2019s Kingdom in the New Normalcy<br \/>\nScripture: Romans 5:12-17<\/p>\n<p>Speaker: Pastor Andy Tse<\/p>\n<div class=\"audio-container\"><audio controls=\"controls\"><source src=\"https:\/\/www.mgc.ca\/mp3\/English\/2023_0716_E.mp3\" type=\"audio\/mpeg\" \/><\/audio><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Romans 5:12-17<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Rom-5-12\"><sup class=\"versenum\">12\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man,\u00a0and death through sin,\u00a0and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned\u2014<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NIV-28061\" class=\"text Rom-5-13\"><sup class=\"versenum\">13\u00a0<\/sup>To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone\u2019s account where there is no law.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-28062\" class=\"text Rom-5-14\"><sup class=\"versenum\">14\u00a0<\/sup>Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam,\u00a0who is a pattern of the one to come.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NIV-28063\" class=\"text Rom-5-15\"><sup class=\"versenum\">15\u00a0<\/sup>But the gift is not like the trespass.
