Romans 8:18-39 (NIV)<\/strong><\/u>18\u00a0<\/sup>I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.<\/span>\u00a019\u00a0<\/sup>For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God\u00a0to be revealed.<\/span>\u00a020\u00a0<\/sup>For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it,\u00a0in hope<\/span>\u00a021\u00a0<\/sup>that\u00a0the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay\u00a0and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.<\/span><\/p>\n22\u00a0<\/sup>We know that the whole creation has been groaning\u00a0as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.<\/span>\u00a023\u00a0<\/sup>Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit,\u00a0groan\u00a0inwardly as we wait eagerly\u00a0for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.<\/span>\u00a024\u00a0<\/sup>For in this hope we were saved.\u00a0But hope that is seen is no hope at all.\u00a0Who hopes for what they already have?<\/span>\u00a025\u00a0<\/sup>But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.<\/span><\/p>\n26\u00a0<\/sup>In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit\u00a0himself intercedes for us\u00a0through wordless groans.<\/span>\u00a027\u00a0<\/sup>And he who searches our hearts\u00a0knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes\u00a0for God\u2019s people in accordance with the will of God.<\/span><\/p>\n28\u00a0<\/sup>And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who\u00a0have been called\u00a0according to his purpose.<\/span>\u00a029\u00a0<\/sup>For those God foreknew\u00a0he also predestined\u00a0to be conformed to the image of his Son,\u00a0that he might be the firstborn\u00a0among many brothers and sisters.<\/span>\u00a030\u00a0<\/sup>And those he predestined,\u00a0he also called;\u00a0those he called, he also justified;\u00a0those he justified, he also glorified.<\/span><\/p>\n31\u00a0<\/sup>What, then, shall we say in response to these things?\u00a0If God is for us,\u00a0who can be against us?<\/span>\u00a032\u00a0<\/sup>He who did not spare his own Son,\u00a0but gave him up for us all\u2014how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?<\/span>\u00a033\u00a0<\/sup>Who will bring any charge\u00a0against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.<\/span>\u00a034\u00a0<\/sup>Who then is the one who condemns?\u00a0No one. Christ Jesus who died\u2014more than that, who was raised to life\u2014is at the right hand of God\u00a0and is also interceding for us.<\/span>\u00a035\u00a0<\/sup>Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?\u00a0Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?<\/span>\u00a036\u00a0<\/sup>As it is written:<\/span><\/p>\n\n
