Michael Lau<\/p>\n<div class=\"audio-container\"><audio controls=\"controls\"><source src=\"https:\/\/www.mgc.ca\/mp3\/English\/2022_0508_E.mp3\" type=\"audio\/mpeg\" \/><\/audio><\/div>\n<p><u><strong>John 15:18-27 (NIV)<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\n<span class=\"text John-15-18\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">18\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cIf the world hates you,\u00a0keep in mind that it hated me first.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-26719\" class=\"text John-15-19\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">19\u00a0<\/sup>If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you\u00a0out of the world. That is why the world hates you.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-26720\" class=\"text John-15-20\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">20\u00a0<\/sup>Remember what I told you: \u2018A servant is not greater than his master.\u2019\u00a0If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also.\u00a0If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-26721\" class=\"text John-15-21\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">21\u00a0<\/sup>They will treat you this way because of my name,\u00a0for they do not know the one who sent me.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-26722\" class=\"text John-15-22\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">22\u00a0<\/sup>If I had not come and spoken to them,\u00a0they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-26723\" class=\"text John-15-23\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">23\u00a0<\/sup>Whoever hates me hates my Father as well.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-26724\" class=\"text John-15-24\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">24\u00a0<\/sup>If I had not done among them the works no one else did,\u00a0they would not be guilty of sin.\u00a0As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-26725\" class=\"text John-15-25\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">25\u00a0<\/sup>But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: \u2018They hated me without reason.\u2019<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"text John-15-26\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">26\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cWhen the Advocate\u00a0comes, whom I will send to you from the Father\u2014the Spirit of truth\u00a0who goes out from the Father\u2014he will testify about me.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-26727\" class=\"text John-15-27\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">27\u00a0<\/sup>And you also must testify,\u00a0for you have been with me from the beginning.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The maturity of being a disciple 2022 Church Theme: Advancing God\u2019s Kingdom in the New Normalcy Scripture: John 15:18-27 (NIV) Speaker: Rev.
