Michael Lau<\/p>\n<div class=\"audio-container\"><audio controls=\"controls\"><source src=\"https:\/\/www.mgc.ca\/mp3\/English\/2022_0501_E.mp3\" type=\"audio\/mpeg\"><\/audio><\/div>\n<p><u><strong>John 15:1-17 (NIV)<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Col-2-6\"><sup class=\"versenum\">1 <\/sup><\/span><span class=\"text John-15-1\"><span class=\"woj\">\u201cI am&nbsp;the true vine,&nbsp;and my Father is the gardener.<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-26702\" class=\"text John-15-2\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">2&nbsp;<\/sup>He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes&nbsp;so that it will be even more fruitful.<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-26703\" class=\"text John-15-3\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">3&nbsp;<\/sup>You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-26704\" class=\"text John-15-4\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">4&nbsp;<\/sup>Remain in me, as I also remain in you.&nbsp;No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NIV-26705\" class=\"text John-15-5\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">5&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cI am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit;&nbsp;apart from me you can do nothing.<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-26706\" class=\"text John-15-6\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">6&nbsp;<\/sup>If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-26707\" class=\"text John-15-7\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">7&nbsp;<\/sup>If you remain in me&nbsp;and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-26708\" class=\"text John-15-8\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">8&nbsp;<\/sup>This is to my Father\u2019s glory,&nbsp;that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NIV-26709\" class=\"text John-15-9\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">9&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cAs the Father has loved me,&nbsp;so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-26710\" class=\"text John-15-10\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">10&nbsp;<\/sup>If you keep my commands,&nbsp;you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father\u2019s commands and remain in his love.<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-26711\" class=\"text John-15-11\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">11&nbsp;<\/sup>I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-26712\" class=\"text John-15-12\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">12&nbsp;<\/sup>My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-26713\" class=\"text John-15-13\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">13&nbsp;<\/sup>Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one\u2019s life for one\u2019s friends.<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-26714\" class=\"text John-15-14\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">14&nbsp;<\/sup>You are my friends&nbsp;if you do what I command.<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-26715\" class=\"text John-15-15\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">15&nbsp;<\/sup>I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master\u2019s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-26716\" class=\"text John-15-16\"><sup class=\"versenum\">16&nbsp;<\/sup>You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you&nbsp;so that you might go and bear fruit\u2014fruit that will last\u2014and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.<\/span>&nbsp;<span id=\"en-NIV-26717\" class=\"text John-15-17\"><sup class=\"versenum\">17&nbsp;<\/sup>This is my command: Love each other.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Image of True Vine 2022 Church Theme: Advancing God\u2019s Kingdom in the New Normalcy Scripture: John 15:1-17 (NIV) Speaker: Rev.
