Matthew 26:6-13
The story of Jesus being anointed by a woman with a jar of very
expensive perfume is a familiar one. This woman is praised by Jesus
as having done a beautiful thing to him. So much so that he said,
“wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she
has done will also be told, in memory of her.” What is so special
about this? Today’s sermon will focus on the discipleship that Jesus is
looking for.
